We believe that by nurturing a culture of sustainability and promoting green skills to our learners and staff, we can contribute to a more resilient and environmentally conscious future for everyone.
Through the various funded initiatives LSIF* and UKSPF*, we are integrating sustainable practices into all aspects of college life. Our focus on green skills ensures that we strive to include a range of disciplines and knowledge within our teaching. From renewable energy within our solar farm, to our newly installed heat pumps, to waste management, we are providing our learners with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in this rapidly evolving national agenda to Net Zero.
By incorporating sustainability into our curriculum and offering practical training opportunities, we are giving our learners a strong foundation in sustainable learning and allowing our learners to become the future representatives of positive change in our communities and our industries.
Additionally, our commitment to sustainability extends to our campus infrastructure too. We continuously seek to reduce our environmental footprint through energy-efficient technologies, waste reduction strategies, and green building practices.
Our newly installed electric chargers promotes the use of EVs and any new updates to our college exterior and interior has the green agenda at the forefront of any decision.
