The Red Box Project

The Red Box Project provides access for young people to sanitary products for those who are unable to afford/provide their own due to exceptional circumstances, home life or in an emergency situation.

The College’s Welfare Team will be available in Reception on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10.45am – 11am to distribute sanitary products.

Outside of these times please ask for the Red Box at the Student Services Helpdesk (EA004).

Quiet Contemplation Rooms

Our quiet contemplation rooms are for spiritual refreshment, exploration and counsel for people of any religious persuasion or none.

While the quiet contemplation rooms are for individual prayer, contemplation and meditation, it is recognised that for Muslim prayer there is an additional blessing when the faithful pray with another or others. While this is fully respected, it is expected that the quiet contemplation rooms will be shared with those of other religious traditions who may wish to pray at the same time and individuals who may just wish to think and reflect.

  • Female Quiet Contemplation Room – TA014, ground floor of the Tate building
  • Male Quiet Contemplation Room – HR103, first floor of the Hirst building
