Preston’s College supports national Colleges Week campaign

Preston’s College are delighted to be supporting the national ‘Colleges Week’ campaign, taking place from 19th October – 23rd October 2020.

The campaign provides the chance to celebrate and shout about all of the amazing things colleges do to support individuals, boost businesses and build communities. In addition, this year’s campaign provides an opportunity to highlight the challenges and opportunities colleges have faced amidst the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Throughout the week, Preston’s College will be showcasing just a small selection of the great work we undertake, including our industry standard facilities, tutor spotlights, incredible partnerships and award-winning provision.

Speaking about the week, Dr Lis Smith, Principal and Chief Executive Officer at Preston’s College commented: “Preston’s College are committed to supporting the national ‘Colleges Week’ campaign in what has been an extraordinary year for everyone. From supporting local food banks and the NHS, to providing online and home learning opportunities for all of our learners, we have worked tirelessly to support all.

The campaign also provides an opportunity to showcase our highly effective, technical education for all; an increasingly essential part of the education and training system.”
