This Apprenticeship is designed for Team Leaders/Managers with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. The apprentice will provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals within private, public or third sector organisations. Key responsibilities are likely to include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Individuals who undertake this qualification will develop a range of essential management skills applied and refined in a real work environment. You will learn how to build the leadership capability to motivate teams and influence with confidence as well as gaining a broad understanding of key management and leadership theory to underpin and support growth and performance.
Units include: Leading People, Managing People, Building Relationships, Communication, Operational Management, Project Management and Finance.
On completion, you may choose to register as an Associate member with Institute of Leadership and Management, to support your professional career development and progression. You may also wish to explore higher education options such as leadership and management qualifications.

Duration: 12 - 18 Months.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will be expected to have Maths and English at Grade C or above and be working in a role that meets the requirements for the Apprenticeship. All candidates will have an interview and undertake an assessment before being accepted on to the Apprenticeship.
