These include a dedicated arts and crafts room where you will be able to develop practical skills that will help you understand how children learn through play and a great outdoor space, dedicated to creating play areas for young children.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
If you wish to continue pursing a career in childcare, we would recommend the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner course. Progression to this course depends on you meeting the entry criteria and on your GCSE results in maths and English at the end of the Level 1 course. If you are not quite ready to progress to Level 2, we have a range of other Level 1 programmes in Health & Social Care.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You will need a profile of mainly grade 2s at GCSE including English Language and maths. You will also need to attend an interview to show interest in the subject and a willingness to learn.
