Our one-year Art & Design Level 2 course is the perfect introduction for anyone wishing to venture into the creative and digital industries. Our varied curriculum will allow you to research, experiment and develop ideas in a lively and diverse creative environment. HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?
The majority of this course will be taught in practical workshops where you will build an art and design portfolio to showcase your skills and aid your progression into a higher level course of study or into employment.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
There are no exams! The course is taught through workshops and project work, with each project aimed at highlighting a different type of skill and creative response for a particular audience, modelled on real-world industry practice. In the final term, you will have the opportunity to respond to an external brief, allowing you the creative space to specialise in your preferred area and test your new found skills and techniques.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You need four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English Language and Maths and either a grade 4 (C) or above in an art related subject or a portfolio of work to show your artistic talent.
