The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship is a comprehensive course, designed to train individuals with the skills and knowledge to efficiently manage and operate within a warehouse environment. WHAT WILL I LEARN?

The Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship covers a range of skills and knowledge, essential for effective warehouse management and supply chain operations. Apprentices will learn inventory management techniques, including stock control, rotation, and auditing. They'll become proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for tasks such as tracking inventory and generating reports.

In addition, apprentices will gain hands-on experience in goods receiving, quality control, and storage optimisation methods. Training will also encompass order picking and packing procedures, accuracy and efficiency.

Health and safety practices specific to warehouse environments will be covered thoroughly, ensuring apprentices understand and adhere to regulations.

Furthermore, apprentices may learn about logistics coordination, transportation management, and customer service principles to grasp the broader aspects of supply chain operations.
