This qualification is ideal for those looking to enter roles involving internal quality assurance. Providing opportunities to develop and improve internal quality practices, whilst gaining a professional qualification, the course is suitable for anyone working in accredited learning, non-accredited learning and the NQF.
Learners can study up to three units at Level 4. Typically, learners study the first two units, with the third unit being optional, based upon individual job role needs and career ambitions.
Successful completion of the course will provide all learners with a strong understanding of the principles of internal quality assurance, alongside the knowledge needed to develop and improve systems in their workplace.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Three units are offered at Level 4. Unit 403 is optional.
Units are priced at £250 per unit and include:
Unit 401 - theory/ content = assignment based unit
Unit 402 - practical assessment of internal verification and feedback with portfolio of evidence
Unit 403 - practical assessment of lead internal verification activities with portfolio of evidence
HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?
Learners on this course will be taught through a suite of blended learning; a mixture of on-site and remote teaching methods.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Assessment methods vary by unit by typically include observations, examinations of produced work, oral questioning and discussion, learner statements, 3rd party testimonials, assignments and the submission of a portfolio of evidence.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
Upon completion of this qualification you will have gained knowledge and understanding in internal quality assurance principles, alongside new ideas, techniques and the confidence needed to develop and improve systems in the workplace.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
You do not need to hold a TAQA level 3 qualification to undertake this programme, however, it is recommended, or in the absence of TAQA level 3, a Cert Ed/ PGCE qualification.
