You'll also learn how to develop essential conversational skills and everyday vocabularly to confidently communicate in Spanish-speaking business environments.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

  • How to say hello, goodbye and understand and make simple greetings
  • How to order food and drink in bars and restaurants
  • Be prepared for emergency situations including visiting the doctor or chemist
  • Be able to ask and understand simple directions
  • Be able to tell the time
  • Make a hotel reservation and make a complaint

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

There are no exams during this course, however you will be encouraged to keep a portfolio containing handouts, photographs and examples your work to demonstrate your progress.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

On completion of this course, you may wish to continue your studies with our Intermediate Spanish Language programme, or on one of our other language courses available at Preston College. The tutor will discuss your options with you at the end of your course.
