HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
There are no formal assessments for this short course. Your progress will be monitored throughout the course by our experienced tutor who will offer advice on how to improve and develop your crocheting skills.
HOW MUCH WILL THIS COURSE COST?
Essential: Learners will need a crochet hook and enough yarn to complete their chosen project.
Typically, a size 5 hook is suitable for most yarn purchased in the local budget shops. Check the yarn label as this will state the correct size of hook.
The cost of yarn varies, and you are advised to choose acrylic yarn for your first project as this is usually less costly and easier to work with as a beginner.
Optional: Yarn needle to weave in ends, scissors, stitch markers.
WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
Once you have mastered the basics you can progress on to making jumpers, slippers, purses, the list is limitless!
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
For your first class you will need to bring two balls of your chosen yarn, and your crochet hook.
Both left-handed, and right-handed learners are welcome.
It is also helpful to bring a notebook to class to help you keep track of your progress and pattern whilst completing your projects.
