ILM LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT - LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE

Duration: 10 sessions over 20 weeks
Level: Level 3

This ILM Leadership and Management qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people though organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

The qualification is made up of a wide range of units covering core management skills – such as understanding how to organise and delegate – plus skills in communication, team leadership, change, innovation and managing people and relationships.

It allows you to gain a range of key management skills and put them into practice, build leadership capabilities, motivate and engage teams, manage relationships confidently, develop leadership and management skills using own knowledge, values and motivations.

HOW WILL I BE TAUGHT?

You will be taught by an experienced tutor and attend fortnightly workshops.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

You will complete work-based assignments whilst undertaking this qualification.

WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?

Students who successfully complete the ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management may choose to progress to the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management.

You will be required to complete a Skills Scan to ensure you are on the correct programme. You should also either be in a management position or the desire to be in one.
