The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments is a course specifically designed to develop and expand your practical skills in beauty therapy and enable you to carry out treatments to a professional standard.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This course has been specifically designed to advance your practical beauty therapy skills.
Units of study include:
Provide body massage
Provide facial electrotherapy treatments
Provide body electrotherapy treatments
Microdermabrasion
Apply individual permanent lashes
Nail enhancements
Advanced nail art techniques
In addition, you will study mandatory units in Client Care and Communication, Working in Beauty Related Industries, Health and Safety Practice in the Salon and Client Consultation and Wellbeing.
HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?
Assessment will be through a range of methods including a portfolio of evidence to support your knowledge. This will be made up of case studies, observed work, oral and written questions and assignments.
WHAT CAN I DO NEXT?
Successful completion of the programme can provide opportunities for higher level learning and/or employment in the beauty industry.
You may also consider expanding your skill base by studying Hairdressing at Level 2.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
On this course, we recommend purchase of your own uniform, beauty kit and text books. Further information will form part of your induction in your first class.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of a Level 2 Beauty qualification. You may also require an interview with a course tutor.
