Beauty Therapists offer a wide range of treatments in a number of different environments including salons, spas, health and leisure organisations and cruise ships. If you want to wok in this industry, then this course is an ideal starting point to gain the knowledge and technical skills required for employment as a junior beauty therapist.

In our onsite, high quality beauty salons, you will be taught by experienced staff who will guide you through the practical and theoretical aspects of this programme, through demonstrations of technical skills and coursework.
Your time on the programme will be shared between practical workshops, where you will practice your skills on fellow learners, theory sessions where you will learn subject related to anatomy and physiology and product knowledge and commercial salon time. This is where you will demonstrate your creative skills on live models.

You are required to wear a beauty therapy tunic and trousers in your salon sessions and comfortable, covered shoes. The uniform will be ordered for you when you start College.
All the equipment and products you need to complete the programme will be provided in our well stocked, professional salons.
You will have the option to purchase your own kit if you choose.
You need four GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above including English Language and maths. You will also need good people, communication and dexterity skills as well as the desire to work with the general public in a professional manner.
