Adult Learner Week – It’s a Wrap!
We have had a great time celebrating Adult Learner Week here at Preston’s College. In fact, we had so much to share, our celebrations ran for a week and a half!
Since 14th June 2021, we have hosted a series of virtual and on-campus events, designed exclusively for adults considering joining us this September. Each virtual event provided opportunities to hear from teaching and support staff, as well as both former and current learners, all from the comfort of home.
On-campus activities provided a first glimpse of our outstanding teaching and learning facilities, including purpose built workshops, laboratories and study spaces, as we showcased the very best of our technical learning provision.
The week, was of course, just a small snap shot of the incredible work that takes place on a daily basis by our huge range of adult learners and dedicated staff. As the term ends, on what has been a very different year, we begin to look forward to September. We can’t wait to welcome a host of new and returning adults, as we support individual career changes, upskilling plans and re-skilling journeys.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to contribute to video, to explore our virtual platforms and visit our campus. We hope you found your chosen experience both insightful and useful and we look forward to welcoming you to study with us in September.
