Preston’s College has achieved a Gold in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK, in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff and learners get home safely at the end of the working day.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Dave Foy, Estates, Health and Safety manager at Preston’s College said: “The College works extremely hard on its health and safety practices, ensuring we have robust policy and procedures that are followed. We take a pro-active approach to maintain a safe environment across our busy campus and we are delighted to have been recognised for our efforts.”
The team will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019.
