Lancashire further education provider, Preston’s College, has been awarded with Approved Training Centre status by the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE).
Tracey Richardson, the Institute’s first female National President, presented the official plaque to Mark Taylor, Head of School for Construction & the Built Environment at the Preston’s College construction centre.
The prestigious status was granted to the College alongside building services engineering partner, JTL, following the FE provider’s ongoing commitment to providing industry standard teaching and learning.
CIPHE actively work alongside education providers to ensure young people develop professional skills through technical training programmes to align with workforce demands.
