Bus passes covering the Preston College area are available from Preston Bus, Stagecoach and Transdev (East Lancs). Visit our bus pass page for maps, guides and prices.
The College has access to a number of Bursary funds aimed at supporting learners with specific financial difficulties which may prevent them from taking part in learning. Apply today and don’t miss out!
It is really important that you sign your Learning Agreement as soon as possible. If you don’t sign it, you won’t be able to get your ID badge or attend any lessons.
Your induction day is the first day of college. Depending on your course you will attend one of the following days, from 9.15am till 4.15pm.
Level 1 – Wednesday 4 September 2024
Level 2 – Thursday 5 September 2024
Level 3 – Friday 6 September 2024
After induction your first day at college will be week commencing Monday 9 September. Check your timetable for further details.
Download a temporary bus pass here and show it to the bus driver. You can use this for the first week of college.
You will get your timetable during Induction.
Some courses do require you to wear a uniform such as safety boots, overalls or tunics.
You won’t need to have your uniform for induction.

You will need to take notes, so bring a paper and pen with you.
If you have applied for a bursary, you will have been informed if you are eligible for free lunches. If you are eligible you will be able to pay using your ID badge.If you have not applied for your bursary or you are not eligible, you can bring your lunch or purchase it from one of the College’s outlets
