She says: “Alison Pritchard is the NHS education lead for the North West and I cannot sing Alison’s praises enough. She ensures she employs level 2 and 3 learners every year. Alison also supports the learners in the workplace, ensuring they have mentors in place for each department they are rotating on. The learners are given a department rota and by the end of the apprenticeship the learners will have had experience in every pharmacy department in the hospital setting. Alison has also supported the college with sharing job positions in the NHS field, which ensures that we have a high level of mentors supporting our learners.” ENHANCE BEAUTY BAR Fiona Bramwell, Head of School for the Service Industries nominated Enhance Beauty Bar. She says: “Enhance have had apprentices with us for the last 5 years. Frankie (the salon owner) has also attended events at the college, supported at schools, and has given information, advice and guidance to potential learners within her industry sector. Enhance Beauty, continues to support and offer opportunities in various apprenticeships. They are highly deserving of the award.” 09 Frankie (pictured centre) and her team
