ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION If you want to study at degree level but do not have the qualifications, then an Access to Higher Education Diploma could offer the perfect stepping stone to university. These advanced level courses are Level 3 qualifications, equivalent to three A-Levels, and are accepted by a wide range of universities. Regardless of your chosen subject, you will develop your academic skills and subject knowledge in preparation for degree level study. Access to Higher Education Diplomas at Preston College include: > Allied Healthcare Professions > Childhood Studies > Construction > Science > Social Science Entry onto an Access to Higher Education Diploma provides eligibility to take out an Advanced Learner Loan, to cover the cost of your fees. If you then progress onto a degree programme and successfully complete it, your Advanced Learner Loan will NOT need to be paid back! (Please check all T&Cs before taking out a loan). APPRENTICESHIPS Apprenticeships are not just for school leavers.
