MEET LOUISE After being placed on Furlough before being made redundant from her permanent role, Louise took the opportunity to re-consider her career options. With personal experiences sparking an interest in work within the social services sector, Louise began to explore her options and discovered the Level 2 Health and Social Care course at Preston College. With Level 3 study and beyond requiring Maths and English qualifications at Level 2, Louise took the opportunity to improve her grades, enrolling upon Functional Skills Maths and GCSE English, alongside her Level 2 Health and Social Care. Commenting on her time on the courses so far, Louise said: “I feel really lucky to have such brilliant tutors and peers. The tutors are all highly experienced, with the Health and Social Care tutors bringing their industry perspective to the classroom.
