Successfully completing the five year programme she began her career in Malta, before returning to the UK to open her own salon at the age of 22. As the business became busier, Carmen relocated to larger premises and began to employ staff, before progressing into a teaching position at Preston College, upon successful completion of a teacher training qualification. During her time teaching, Carmen nurtured some talented young stylists and was so impressed with their skill level, dedication and commitment to learning, she decided to employ them in her salon, which has now been successfully operating for 36 years!
