Upon graduating, she successfully progressed into a role working with adults with additional needs but the birth of her daughter left Ruby seeking a more creative career. Exploring her options, Ruby joined the Level 2 Hairdressing course in September 2018, before progressing onto Level 3 in September 2019. Throughout her time on the two courses Ruby undertook work experience, which provided invaluable insight into the world of both hairdressing and barbering, encouraging her to continue her studies as a learner on the Level 2 Barbering course. A finalist in the Concept Hair 2021 barbering competition and enjoying the course immensley, Ruby now works full time as a Barber. For more information visit www.preston.ac.uk 15
