MEET OUR HEALTHCARE LEADERS SAM HEAD OF SCHOOL FOR BUSINESS, HEALTH AND UNIFORMED SERVICES Hi, I’m Sam, Head of School for Business, Health and the Uniformed Services. I have worked within FE for over 12 years, experiencing a number of different positions and curriculum areas during my career. My role at the College is to manage teams of teachers and work based tutors who deliver and assess across a range of study programmes, apprenticeships and professional qualifications. Our curriculum is employer led and focused on the achievement and next step for all of our learners, regardless of what stage their learning journey is at. The teams under all these areas are qualified Health Professionals with most still working within their professional sector, ensuring we maintain current professional knowledge to share with our learners and their places of employment. My personal registered profession is Dental Nursing, Oral Health Educator and then moving my career and knowledge into Teaching. I have worked within the Dental sector since 1987, I have a great passion for what I teach and also take great pride in the achievement of all our apprentices in all areas.
